Over the years we have helped people buy and sell everything from modest condos and first homes to waterfront properties, investment homes and more complicated transactions. Different price points. Christina and Carsten have always built their businesses together, as equal partners. That included real estate, vacation rentals, property management and boating businesses in Southwest Florida.
Being involved in the day-to-day work taught both of us far more than any single job description could. Christina developed deep real-estate, transaction and client experience. Carsten often approached the same situation from the construction, technical, boating or practical side. When something did not fit the standard playbook, we worked through it together.
That is still how we operate today. We complement each other rather than compete with each other.
A condo, a starter home, a veteran buyer or someone who has been told more than once that financing will not work. Sometimes the job is helping connect the right people, structure the path forward and keep working until the numbers and property make sense.
Here the questions change. Canal route, bridges, seawalls, boat fit and access can matter as much as bedrooms and finishes. This is a specialty we know well, but it is only one part of the real-estate work we do.
An owner selling elsewhere and purchasing in Florida through a tax-deferred exchange has a very different timeline and set of priorities than a traditional buyer. We are comfortable working with the professionals involved and keeping the real-estate side moving.
Clients in Germany and elsewhere in Europe face different practical questions when buying, owning or selling Florida property from thousands of miles away. We understand that perspective because it has been part of our own story and our work for years.
Christina's full-time focus is real estate. The large vacation-rental and property-management operation we once ran is part of our experience, not a service we are trying to sell to real-estate clients.
Carsten continues CK Home Watch and private guided boat tours on a deliberately limited basis. They are separate family businesses, not competing departments inside Christina's real-estate practice.
What carries across all of it is perspective. We have seen properties as buyers, sellers, managers, operators, boaters and problem-solvers. That experience helps us ask better questions, but the goal is simple: help the client make a decision that works for their situation.
